Many people believe that if they try to live a good life they will find heaven waiting for them after death. Sadly, this is not the case. The Bible is clear that there is no one who is good enough to enter heaven as we all fall well short of God's perfect standard. Thankfully, God has made a way for us to receive forgiveness, new life and a perfect record so we can enter heaven. This was made possible when Jesus paid our penalty by dying on the cross and rose from the dead 3 days later. We simply need to respond...
1. Admit that we can't get to heaven by our own efforts
2. Be willing to turn away from what God says is wrong
3. Believe that Jesus died for you on the cross and rose from the dead to make your forgiveness possible
4. Fully commit to Jesus and receive forgiveness and new life. Ask Jesus to forgive you and enter into your life through His Spirit.
